Hello Everybody!
This has been a super crazy week full of exchanges!!
Monday- typical P Day. Can still play basketball and ping pong so it was definitely a good one!
Tuesday-We had district meeting and then I went on exchanges with one of the DL, Elder Hunt. It was super fun! He's a really young missionary with unlimited potential and we had an awesome day! Including teaching a recent convert in a MMA dojo
Wednesday-We went and did some service with the food bank and then had lunch and had to take the car to get new tires. We met a recent convert at the church to do some family history and met a couple of new people.
Thursday-Went on exchanges again! This time with Elder McCarney. Another young promising missionary but he's a spanish elder so I didn't really know anything that was going on in any of the teaching appointments! But we still had a really good exchange and were able to talk about some good things!
Friday-Exchanged back did some finding and then the AP's came to do exchanges with us! We went and saw a lady we met at a gas station and it went really well! We had the coolest member team up with us and she's gonna be coming to church next week!
Saturday-Did some more work with the AP's. Went and did some more finding and found a couple of reasonably solid people. We helped a couple people move. We saw an investigator named Dee. She is the daughter of a recent convert and she has a really strong testimony of the church. She is just really afraid to join because her husband is super unsupportive. We taught her about Lehi's Vision of the Tree of Life and she related so well! It was a really cool lesson!
Sunday-Dee didn't come to church.. We're pretty sure that she got into an argument with her husband about it. But she knows it's true and knows what she has to do and is working towards being baptized on the 28th of March. After church we went to a couple of baptisms that were happening int the zone and had dinner at our super rich ward mission leaders house.
Well it was a really cool and busy week! I'm loving the new area and loving the work!
Love you all!
Elder Boman
