Tuesday-
We had some different meetings going on within the zone and then we
had to take care of some stuff so we can have a gym membership. We had
dinner with the Mayfields and then went by and saw Jazmariah's family,
the Carters. They are doing well! Just had a short visit with them.
Wednesday-
Nothing too noteworthy during the day but our Ward Mission Leader,
Brother Hirschi came out with us on team ups. We were able to go see
Shawn (Jazmariah's sister) who was really interested and put her on date
for the 25th! We then saw Mark and Kristen, who have been reading and
have a lot of solid potential still but just work on Sundays right now.
Thursday-
A bunch of meetings and then we went to Lawrence to go to an Easter
Activity called Walk With Christ with John Hutchens, a recent convert.
It was so cool! They converted the whole inside of the church building
to different scenes from Jesus' life. John really liked it and was
supposed to bring Dee too but she backed out at the last minute.
Friday-Elder
Nield was sick again so he stayed in while I went on exchanges with the
other missionaries in the ward and interviewed one of their
investigators for baptism! After that, We had a church tour with all of
Shoneka's family! It went really well and we showed them the baptismal
font and solidly committed all 4 of them to be baptized on the 25th!
Saturday-We
had a baptism in the ward for the kid I interviewed and Jazmariah and
her sister LeShawndah came and said they were excited to get baptized.
Other than that, we watched conference all day which was awesome!!
Sunday-We
had Shoneka's family come to the afternoon session of conference and
really liked it! After the session we set up a baptismal calendar with
them and went over some of the baptismal interview questions. They are
looking really solid on being baptized on the 25th! It was a really cool
miracle that we found them! After that, we had dinner with our ward
mission leader and then started getting stuff ready for our mission
leadership council meeting.
Well
that was about it for our week! It was the start of a new transfer and
we are really excited for this next month. We doubled our baptismal goal
as a zone last month and we are looking to exceed where we were last
month again! So things are going really well! Love you all thanks for
everything!
