Howdy Ya'll!

Monday-We had a regular P Day and then had to drive down to Wichita for a Mission Leadership Council Meeting we had early the next day.
Tuesday-MLC's all day and then drove home. It was fun!
Wednesday-Stake Reports ALLLL DAAAYYYY. Then Stake Coordination meeting to end the day.
Thursday-Got everything ready for Zone Training on Friday. We were actually able to fit in a couple hours of proselyting for the week finally!! It was a really good couple hours too! We visited a former that called us and said he knew he needed to get baptized and it was the truth. He even knelt down in front of us and asked us to put our hands on his head and pray for him! Anyway, his name is Corey. He has a huge desire but he struggles with alcoholism so it will be a battle for sure.
Friday-We did our zone training and it was awesome!! It went really well and I think everyone in the zone liked it and learned a lot! But after that we contacted a member referral for a guy named Jim in the hospital. He's about to get surgery on his back and will be in the hospital for a while but he wants to come to church and get baptized when he's out so we started teaching him all the lessons! We tried to see Shoneka but she wasn't around. We talked to her kids though and they are all doing well! They pretty much read the Book of Mormon and pray every day! They are shooting for the 25th right now and they don't really have any problems with commandments that will keep them back they're just kind of ghetto and not the most reliable people in the world... haha
Saturday- Saw a bunch of people! Took John to go meet Jim in the hospital and taught him another lesson. We had two dinners. One with a recent convert who is probably insane... But awesome! We finally got to see Mark again too. He's read the whole Book of Mosiah! He really wants to get active in the church but he's working on Sundays right now so it's tough. His wife isn't super interested either but he says she'll come around.
Sunday-Church! The Carters didn't come! (Shoneka's family). Shoneka wasn't feeling well so we tried to get a ride for the kids but I think they got nervous because they didn't know the person who was coming to get them. So we'll have to shoot for the 26th as a baptismal date so that they can all come twice before they get baptized. We visited a lot of other people and met a pretty cool lady named Ashley that's got some potential.
Well overall it was a really good week! We started it out with a ton of meetings but were able to get some good work in at the end of the week! The Zone is doing really awesome and we have potential to more than double our baptismal goal again! We could potentially have 20 in the zone so there are tons of miracles happening and it's really cool to be a part of!
Love you all!
Elder Boman
