Hello Everyone!
We had an awesome week! We had another baptism this weekend! It
technically wasn't a convert baptism because he was still 8 but I'll
definitely still write it in the front of Preach My Gospel... haha But
it was from the Henault family. They were inactive for a while but we
found them and helped them start coming back to church and helped the
8 year old get baptized! They are so awesome!! They are now working
towards going to the temple so they can get sealed as a family!
So I think this week instead of doing the daily I'll just talk about
some sweet things from this week!
So Toby and Tamitha are doing pretty good! We had a family night with
them earlier in the week and then kept seeing them throughout the week
and had them committed to getting married and baptized next weekend...
but they got in a fight again and don't want to get married. Not
really sure how to proceed because they love the gospel and church and
want to get baptized really bad but they just can't right now. They
have a family together and all kinds of plans and we know they really
want to get married. They just keep letting things get in the way!
We got an awesome referral family of 9 from a member that we
contacted. They were super cool! They are really interested and we put
them on date and they came to church!! Except they live in a different
area... so we had to pass them!
We went on 3 exchanges this week which was really fun! We went with
the APs and with the zone leaders from a neighboring zone and also a
district leader from our zone. They were all really good and I learned
a lot!
On Sunday we had a mission Presidents devotional in our stake and a
bunch of Recent Converts bore their testimony. It was a really cool
meeting with a powerful spirit! Ross bore his testimony and started by
saying, "I would like to thank the Dynamic Duo of Elder Boman and Cole
for introducing me to the church. " Haha he is so awesome!
Well that's about all for this week! Things have been going really
well! We are loving it here! Love you all!
