Elder Bradley Boman: Set Apart

March 4th - Bradley was set apart by President Love as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! It was a big day for Elder Boman!

We had a family dinner to celebrate his big night. But before we went to dinner, Brad spent some time with his nieces and nephews watching Frozen. They are sure going to miss their Uncle Brad!

For dinner, we all met up at Famous Dave's. It felt a bit like Deja Vu because that is where we ate 2 years ago when Jeff got set apart. We missed having Vanessa and Brian there, but it was nice that everyone else was able to be there. Both Grandmas were there as well as Colby and his family. Brad has a lot of good support!

Brad's setting apart wasn't until after 9:00. It was a big chaotic with all the kiddos but it was a great experience to feel the Spirit as Brad was set apart and bore his testimony to all of us. He is definitely ready to serve and going to be a great missionary. The Stake President challenged all of us to read from the Book of Mormon and to write Brad about what we are learning as we are reading. It should be a good experience for all of us while he is gone!
